Feeding, Speech and Myofunctional Therapy

Gina VanDeusen M.A., CCC-SLP

Hi! I'm Gina (she/her) and I am a licensed and board-certified speech-language pathologist with 12 years of experience helping individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings.  I am truly dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of infants and children and their families. I specialize in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders and orofacial myofunctional disorders, as I have completed intensive trainings including Feed the PedsĀ®, AEIOU: an integrated approach to feeding, and other courses related to tethered oral tissues (tongue and lip ties), picky eating, sensory-oral motor approach to feeding intervention, and myofunctional therapy taught by leading experts in the field.  I am also a Myo Munchee Certified Practitioner and participant in the Myo Membership. Further, I enjoy assessing and treating various speech (articulation and phonological), language, voice, and communication disorders. I am passionate about furthering my knowledge to best help children and their families achieve milestones and thrive, earning the ASHA ACE award twice.

As a mom to a toddler, I can relate to the joys and challenges of supporting little ones through their feeding and communication journeys. I implement a holistic approach to identify the root cause of your child's speech, language, feeding, and/or swallowing difficulties. I value collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary team to help support children in their development and guide parents with information and strategies to help them feel confident along the way.  I believe in establishing positive experiences during the early years that help set patterns and build a strong foundation for years to come.

In my free time, you'll find me enjoying the outdoors, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
